Why Heather Dubrow is leaving ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’

In her statement, Dubrow said the show’s producers have left open the possibility that she could return.

“Should I change my mind, I thank (Bravo talk-show host) Andy Cohen, Evolution and Bravo for telling me that the door is always open,” she said.

“The Real Housewives of Orange County,” which depicts affluent women socializing together, drinking wine and frequently fighting, debuted in 2006 and quickly generated a cottage industry of similar shows in locales around the country. Bravo is currently airing nine different “Real Housewives” series.
